IT Sourcing Manager
Metso Strategic IT Sourcing unit is responsible for IT category management and sourcing activities such as managing global IT suppliers together with IT Virtual Team, leading RFx processes and contract negotiations to ensure Metso expectations are met. We are strengthening our team of 6 professionals with IT Sourcing Manager role. IT Sourcing Manager will play a key role in reducing contract backlog, participating in tendering processes and negotiating new agreements with selected partners. IT Sourcing Manager will also actively participate in development initiatives. We are looking for a person with efficient and goal oriented working style. Your preferred working location is in Espoo, but we are working on hybrid mode.
Key responsibilities:
Run RFx processes in global business environment
Partner with key stakeholders from IT, business and legal organization to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risks through negotiations
Ensure cost effective contracts
Participate in development initiatives
Support Sourcing Specialist and other stakeholders with purchase orders
Requirements:
Proven track record of supporting IT RFx processes
Strong understanding of relevant IT contract templates and contract clauses
Capability to negotiate global IT agreements independently
Good communication skills
Good MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Fluency in English
