GreenStep provides a variety of programs and services that help businesses measure and reduce their environmental impacts. We also consult to local governments and businesses in the areas of waste reduction, carbon management, transportation demand management and sustainability strategy development.
GreenStep’s Consulting Division offers programs and services that help businesses to measure, reduce, and report on their environmental impacts through the delivery of life cycle analysis, carbon footprint measurement, energy assessments, waste audits, sustainability strategy and action plan development, as well as complimentary workshops and training, research assignments, sustainability strategy and action plan development, and general consulting support. This position will help us to both manage the delivery of these offerings, specifically related to carbon and life cycle accounting, while developing and growing new business in these areas.
In your role of GHG & LCA Specialist, you will help us to manage the delivery of our projects with clients as well as supporting businesses development activities in collaboration with other team members. The role will include the following key responsibilities:
- Plan and implement project management activities based on agreed upon scopes of work with clients and GreenStep’s project management systems for Carbon & LCA.
- Meet with clients as needed to deliver the scope of work
- Support team members’ roles in projects
- Monitor, manage and provide weekly updates on key projects and milestones to ensure the scope of work is met
- Update project management systems weekly
- Analyze data and compile reports for customers as well as for internal processes and reviews.
- Support the Director of Sustainability Consulting, and Director of Sales and Manager, Carbon LCA in business development activities including supporting the development of technical proposals for potential customers.

Education & Experience Required:
- Masters Degree or PhD in Carbon Accounting, Life Cycle Analysis or similar field
- At least 5 years experience in a consulting environment, supporting clients and project success
